High Park is an accountable
Our Twitter feed provides a window for parents and the community to see the life and learning that happens at High Park Alternative every day. A school account is helpful for communicating messages that relate to the entire school. We'll provide quick, timely information about student learning, activities, projects and displays. Also included will be reminders about school events, special trips, play days and more. A school Twitter account gives us the chance to connect with other schools, TDSB accounts and community organizations. Please follow us, retweet, like and reply to our tweets; #getinvolved and engage with our online #HPAS community .

Alicia Belvedere has been teaching with the Toronto District School Board since 2007. She believes that igniting environmental stewardship in students begins with providing opportunities to explore, get excited about and ultimately fall in love with nature. Her journey to live a happier and healthier life by deepening her connection to nature inspired Alicia to encourage her students to foster their own love of the earth. At High Park Alternative School, there is a community of amazing staff and parents that work together to create exciting learning experiences.

HPAS is a Crayola Colour-Cycle Depot
As a TDSB Eco School we are taking part in the Crayola Colour Cycle Program. Families can send in ANY (not just Crayola!) of their old, used plastic markers - including highlighters and dry erase markers - and we will send them off to Crayola to be re-purposed, diverting tons of plastic waste from our landfills! Want to know more? Visit the Crayola Colour Cycle Website.
Please remember to use the Turn Around Loop at the top of Jennings in the Community Centre Parking Lot to safely turn your vehicles around. U-Turns in the street are dangerous.
Please be aware and let's ensure that everyone gets to and from school safely!
